Good photography is essential
Pictures and graphics are essential elements of a beautiful webpage or social media posts. Radiologist typically are working in front of monitors but once a year the residents engage in a biopsy lab that provides amazing “action” shot content. These photos I took as part of a yearly radiology resident recruitment campaign. Great pictures equals more views. “Drs. It’s important to get “action” shots of radiologists because most of their work is done in front of a computer screen. The radiology residents have a biopsy lab once a year that is great for building an archive of content to be used later. I was not allowed to take pictures in 2020 because of the pandemic but I still arranged for someone else to take a few with a simple iPhone. I used one of those photos for this social media post.
Getting the word out about new technology
Getting the word out about new technology
You would think singing the praises of new technology would be easy ,but if you only have one stock photo from the manufacturer and no established protocols to suggest an audience to focus your attention on, you have to get creative with what you have. I created this very simple, almost B/W image to share on social media. “Very excited about this project milestone! Our PET MRI scanner is scheduled to go live in November 2021. @LabBarajas @NadineMallak @OHSU_NucMed @BreedOHSU @OHSUBrain @OHSUKnight OHSU installs state-of-the-art scanner.”
